  1. Determine solution for hosting.
  2. Obtain website domain name.
  3. Pinpoint specific purpose for the website’s existence.
  4. List the functions, capabilities, and extras that the website needs.
    1. Blogs
    2. Galleries
    3. Audio
    4. Video
  5. Create Basic sitemap with all pages, feeds, multimedia, and content.
    1. Outline the entire website’s architecture in a simple PDF Doc.
  6. Amass and archive all clients’ content.
    1. Logo
    2. Text
    3. Video
    4. Audio
    5. Images
  7. Input all information into sitemap.  Verify final copy with client.  Proof.
    1. Present doc with all website content to client.
    2. Have all content pre-organized within folder system.
    3. Verify all content with client.
  8. Install wordpress & create site framework – then fill in content.
    1. Barebones website demo – no design.
    2. Use default wordpress theme
    3. Setup long-term permalinks
  9. Add plugins to organize / present / and manage data & site functionality.
  10. Submit Site to Google (and other search engines), and connect to other 3rd parties
  11. Design Stage
    1. Create (or take existing) company logo, to base design upon.
    2. Review logo with client – pick color scheme based around logo / current identity
    3. Walk through descriptive words with client & select 5 to help facilitate website look
    4. Bold
    5. Classy
    6. Modern
    7. Artsy …etc   (called design description)
    8. Choose barebones data format / layout for website & approve with client
    9. Apply graphics, design description,  logo, and format to create skin.
    10. Finalize skin with client
